Dr. Allan Coursol, LP
Dr. Allan Coursol is a Licensed Psychologist dedicated to helping individuals navigate life’s transitions and challenges with compassion and expertise. He offers a comprehensive range of services tailored to meet diverse needs, including individual, family, and marital psychotherapy. Dr. Coursol specializes in fostering emotional well-being, improving relationships, and supporting personal growth.
In addition to therapy, he provides Psychological and Neuropsychological Evaluations, as well as assessments to measure cognitive functioning and memory abilities. His approach combines clinical experience with evidence-based practices to deliver personalized care that empowers clients to achieve meaningful change.
Dr. Coursol earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of South Florida. He went on to complete both his Master’s degree and Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology and Counseling Psychology at the University of Akron.
Dr. Coursol is an avid cyclist who once finished second place in Minnesota’s state mountain bike series. Outside of work, he enjoys cycling, watching movies, and playing basketball. His favorite candy is black licorice, and when it comes to shopping, his go-to store is Best Buy.

Melinda Haupt, LICSW
Melinda is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker whose approach is driven by curiosity, fueled by creativity, and grounded in passion for helping others thrive. Her mission is to foster resilience, deepen self-awareness, and strengthen connections, guiding clients toward a life of clarity, confidence, and meaningful relationships. Melinda is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, and is a Sex Therapy Informed Professional. She integrates these evidence-based practices to create personalized treatment plans that empower clients to overcome challenges and embrace growth.
With a warm and collaborative style, Melinda works with individuals and couples to navigate life transitions, improve communication, and build emotional well-being. Her goal is to provide a safe, supportive space where clients feel heard, understood, and equipped to create lasting change.
Melinda earned her Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Southwest Minnesota State University – Marshall and completed her Master’s in Social Work at Walden University.
Outside of work, you’ll often find her gardening, baking, spending time with her family, or cheering on her daughters at dance performances. Kara’s goal is to empower clients to build resilience, improve relationships, and foster meaningful change.

With a strong foundation in evidence‑based practice and a deeply person‑centered approach, Melanie is committed to helping clients navigate complex emotional and behavioral challenges with clarity, compassion, and respect.
Melanie is trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), a trauma-focused modality known for its ability to reduce distressing symptoms quickly and effectively. She integrates ART with established therapeutic frameworks to create individualized treatment plans that honor each client’s strengths, lived experiences, and goals for healing.

Amanda Knutson, LPCC
Amanda is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor whose work is rooted in compassion, curiosity, and the belief that every person has the capacity for growth. She specializes in child-focused therapy, incorporating approaches such as family systems, play therapy, and sand tray therapy to create a safe and supportive environment for children and families. Amanda also offers a variety of evidence-based modalities, including EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), ART (Accelerated Resolution Therapy), DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy), and CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy). Her integrative approach allows her to tailor treatment to each individual’s unique needs, fostering resilience and emotional well-being.

Meredith Townsley, Intern
Meredith, Mental Health Counseling Intern, is a compassionate and thoughtful emerging clinician currently completing her graduate training in mental health counseling. She brings a calm, grounded presence to her work and is committed to creating a safe, supportive environment where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered.
In her role as an intern, Meredith works under the supervision of licensed clinicians while developing her skills in evidence‑based therapeutic approaches. She is especially interested in helping clients navigate anxiety, depression, life transitions, and relationship challenges. Her approach is collaborative and person‑centered, emphasizing each client’s strengths and unique lived experiences. Meredith graduated from Iowa State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Criminal Justice.

Keaton Anderson, Intern
Keaton Anderson, MSW Intern, is a dedicated and motivated social work graduate student completing his clinical internship as part of his Master of Social Work program. He brings a strong commitment to social justice, client advocacy, and trauma‑informed care.
During his internship, Keaton provides services under the supervision of licensed social workers, supporting individuals experiencing a range of mental health concerns, including mood disorders, stress, and challenges related to daily functioning. He approaches his work with curiosity, humility, and a genuine desire to understand each client’s story. Keaton is particularly passionate about helping clients build resilience and develop practical skills that support long‑term well‑being. He values the opportunity to learn within a collaborative clinical team and is eager to continue strengthening his therapeutic skills.
Keaton earned his Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Minnesota State University–Mankato and is currently pursuing his Master’s in Social Work at the same institution.

In her role at the front desk, Holly is often the first point of contact for clients and families. She is known for her warm demeanor, strong communication skills, and ability to keep things running smoothly even on the busiest days. Whether she’s coordinating schedules, assisting with paperwork, or helping clients feel comfortable when they arrive, she approaches every interaction with patience, professionalism, and genuine care.

A fun fact about Holly is that she is a three-time Intramural Pickleball Champion at Minnesota State University, Mankato.
